♦Elastomer Materials

Voneseals offers a wide range of elastomer materials to meet diverse operating conditions, including different temperatures, media, and sealing requirements. These materials are widely used in O-rings, static seals, dynamic seals, and various hydraulic and pneumatic sealing applications.

Code Material Temp.Range Key Features
NBR Nitrile rubber -40~+110°C General-purpose hydraulic sealing rubber. Good resistance to mineral oils and strong mechanical properties make it the most cost-effective choice for standard hydraulic and pneumatic seals.
HNBR Hydrogenated nitrile rubber -30~+120°C Hydrogenated nitrile rubber with improved heat and wear resistance over standard NBR, plus better resistance to aging, ozone and abrasion — suited to more demanding, longer-service-life applications.
FKM Fluoroelastomer rubber -20~+180°C Fluoroelastomer rubber offering excellent high-temperature capability and strong resistance to mineral oils, fuels and aggressive media — the preferred choice once operating temperature or fluid compatibility exceeds NBR's limits.
VMQ Vinyl Methyl Silicone Rubber -60~+200°C Vinyl methyl silicone rubber with an exceptionally wide service temperature range and strong resistance to ozone, weathering and corrosion — ideal for static seals exposed to extreme climate swings.

♦Engineering Plastics

Engineering plastics provide low friction, high strength and excellent chemical resistance for demanding sealing applications.

Materials Temp.Range Key Features
